We are seeking a highly motivated college graduate to join our Equity Team as a full-time financial analyst. This position offers an opportunity to excel in a fast-paced, collegial environment while gaining an understanding of commercial real estate finance in the United States. We have developed a highly personalized approach to providing the skills necessary for a long-term career in real estate investment. Our goal is to help our analysts advance by providing them with significant responsibility and diverse experiences. Most assignments involve some form of financial analysis, property analysis, asset management, and valuations.
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the acquisition, financial underwriting, and asset management of assets ranging from $5 million to over $50 million. Analyst responsibilities include:
· Real estate underwriting and deal analysis
· Investment due diligence, property inspections, and market research
· Creation and delivery of investment committee memos
· Lender correspondence
· Financial reporting and the creation of reports for senior management and investors,
· Asset management and dispositions
Analysts receive training through direct participation and are mentored on a daily basis. As part of their ongoing activities, the Analyst works with individuals at all levels within the firm and will eventually travel to property tours and asset management inspections throughout the United States. As Analysts mature, their responsibilities and project assignments may expand significantly.
We are looking for someone with two years of real estate experience. While no specific undergraduate major or course of study is required for the Analyst position, a specific interest in the business and finance of real estate, proficiency in Excel and a strong writing ability is a must. Exceptional analytical and communication skills, leadership traits, diligence, and the willingness and capability to function efficiently under significant deadline pressure are essential.
